Boston Renegades invade Bridgewater

August 23rd, 2008. This is the day that the Boston Renegades Beep Baseball team comes to take on the town of Bridgewater. Come on out for a great time with friends and family. What could be more fun than watching local folks from Bridgewater trying to hit and field a beeping baseball while blind-folded? How about watching them run the bases blind-folded? The game starts at high noon, but before that you can give it a try yourself.

In the Press: Bridgewater Community Lions

Wow! Our first big community service project (the clean-up of Legion Field following the 4th of July festivities) was picked up by the Brockton Enterprise! Theresa Knapp Enos wrote a very nice article about our project and about the club. You can all be very proud of the great work done! You can read the article here.

Happy New (Lions Fiscal) Year!

It’s officially the first day of the 2008 – 2009 Lions year and Bridgewater has 3 Lions clubs with new officers ready to charge into another year of making the world a better place. Good Luck to all the Lions of Bridgewater! You can find the updated list of club officers for all the clubs on their respective pages.

It’s Official!

The Bridgewater Community Lions Club is now up and running! The Presidents and Secretaries of the sponsoring clubs signed the Charter Application yesterday, along with the District Governor, and the paperwork is on its way to Lions Club International (LCI)! All that’s left now is for LCI to issue the club our official club number, but for all intents and purposes Bridgewater now has 3 Lions clubs! We should receive the official charter in about 45 days.
